Process

Initial Consultation

The first meeting is free and is about determining if we have a working chemistry together. If we mutually agree to collaborate,  Michellan Interiors will draft a contract outlining the project scope, rates and process details for approval.

Interview & Programming

Prior to our interview, we suggest that you bring a few photos to show your style preference , needs and goals. Together we start the collaboration process and getting down to the details of design needs and budget.

Measurement

Measurement on site is technical but crucial for design execution.  Any concern or challenge of space will be discussed and addressed.

Design Development

Design concept and proposals will be presented, followed with your feedback and final design blueprint in CAD and elevations will be drawn. Specification of materials and finishes will be ordered with your approval.

Implementation & Project Management

Our team manages ordering and coordinating all of the installations and finished goods for your space. A production and installation schedule is created and maintained to track the status of your project. Our team will be on site to work with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and optimal result.

Installation & Accessorizing

When all of the furnishings are ready to be installed,  our design team accepts delivery of your items, executes the design, and finishes with accessories. Depending on the size and scale of the project this phase can take an afternoon or several days to complete.

Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love
